BRADD operates 13 senior centers across the ten county region, each offering a community space for daily hot meals, stimulating activities, continued education, and increased independence for our neighbors that are 60 years of age or older.

Eligible seniors may attend programs and enjoy a daily hot meal at the centers free of charge. Homebound seniors may qualify for home delivered hot meals daily. Select communities are eligible for transportation to and from the senior centers to ensure accessibility to community events and necessary nutrition programs.

Our senior centers operate with continued wellness and education in mind, with daily activities planned that include games, wellness exercises, educational programming, and community projects. Programs may include card games, gardening, tech education, volunteer opportunities, exercise programs, and more.

Our senior center volunteers are the backbone of our programming and meal services. Whether plating meals, sanitizing community spaces, or leading educational programming, our volunteers are essential to daily operations, ensuring that our seniors are welcomed into a space that allows for comfort and independence. 

Each of our volunteers makes a key difference in the lives of our seniors, though the roles can take many forms, including:

• Preparing and delivering meals.
• Leading daily programming.
• Cleaning and sanitizing community spaces.
• Dishes, laundry, and household chores.
• Spending quality time with seniors.
• Assisting with paperwork.
