Workforce Investment Act (WIA) provides core intensive training services to adults, youth and dislocated workers in a one-stop delivery system. BRADD staff assists local industries through the rapid response program. The rapid response team travels to industries an counsels with employees prior to layoff.

Adults and Dislocated Workers
Most services for adults and dislocated workers are provided through the "One-Stop" system. Customers are guided with the assistance of a BRADD WIA Manager to determine the level of service appropriate for their needs. A case manager may be contacted at any of the following locations:

Youth
Eligible youths must be low-income, ages 14 through 21. Youth customers must also face one or more of the following challenges to successful workforce entry:
(1) school dropout;
(2) basic literacy skills deficiency;
(3) homeless, runaway, or foster child;
(4) pregnant or a parent;
(5) an offender; or
(6) need help completing an educational program or securing and holding a job.

Youth Contractors
The BRADD currently has contracts with the following organizations to provide services to the youth of the region: Glasgow Board of Education, Hart County Board of Education, Education and Training Resources Inc. (serves out-of-school youth in Hart and Warren County), Metcalfe County Board of Education, Monroe County Board of Education.
