2007 Corporate Partnership Award

The Barren River Area Development District/Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living and a company that wants to remain anonymous received the South Eastern Association of AreaAgency’s on Aging award for the 2007 Corporate Partnership Award.  The BRADD Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living staff has been partnering with this company for over six years.  This company graciously donates cases and cases of laundry detergent, fabric softener, shampoos, stain remover and otheritems to the elderly and disabled clients throughout the BRADD area.  BRADD Aging staff picks up the donated items from the company and delivers the products to the BRADD’s  low income elderly and disabled clients.  These donated items enable our low income elderly and disabled to have additional monthly income that can assist with other needed items, such as, food, rent, heat, and other bills. These donated items have been provided to over 1000 plus elderly and disabled individuals.
