Edmonson County Judge/Executive N. E. Reed has been chosen by his peers to serve as president of the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association.

Officers were sworn in at the quarterly Executive Board meeting at the Berry Hill Mansion in Frankfort on December 6.

Reed has been very active in the Association for many years and has served as Edmonson County Judge/Executive since 1994.

The Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association was formed in 1980 and incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 1982. The purpose of the Association is to act as a liaison between county/judge executives and state and federal government entities. The association strives to inform and educate local officials in issues vital to county government in Kentucky.
