The Barren River Area Development District Area Agency on Aging would like to thank Home Instead Senior Care for providing supplemental supplies and items to some of the low-income seniors in our District.  Home Instead began a program called “ Be a Santa to a Senior” and partnered with the Barren River Area Agency on Aging Case Managers and other agencies throughout the district to locate elderly who need assistance and do not have family support.  Approximately 35 seniors were assisted during the holidays with supplies and items such as; clothing, household items, food and cleaning supplies.
