Operation Inasmuch.  First Baptist Church is commended for their special willingness to help the Barren River Elderly.

Barren River Area Agency on Aging and the Barren River Aging Services Case Managers worked in partnership with The First Baptist Church to conduct the "annual" Operation Inasmuch.  Operation Inasmuch was held on October 21. This is a day that is devoted to helping people at their point of need.  The project was staffed and funded by the membership and friends of the First Baptist Church, 621 East 12th Avenue, Bowling Green, Kentucky.  A total of (4) four  elderly individuals were identified through the Barren River AAA and Case Managers as being in need of some type extraordinary home repair or other assistance. Operation Inasmuch activities conducted included major and minor home repairs, yard work, gutter cleaning,  purchase of groceries, personal care items, cleaning supplies and other types assistance.
